Liverpool has a brand new music outlet. Amp radio in an online app bringing the freshest house and biggest dance anthems to listeners 24-7.
The exciting new app promises to ignite Liverpool nightlife and is all about living for the weekend 24-7, with the best in Liverpool local talent at your fingertips. Weekend shows are hosted by many local DJs including Camelphat’s Dave Whelan and Ian Longo. It doesn’t stop there with a wide spectrum of DJ’s from local legends Les Calvert and Lil John of Society, Garlands and 051 fame. Also onboard Gbar residents Andy Mac and Dave Bennett providing the Afterhours party every Friday and Saturday night.

Since launching last weekend the app has been downloaded over 1500 times and the hits on the website and feedback via social media has been huge. The 18-40 target audience have all commented on the station playing songs that remind them of “that” special night out or the latest track from a summer spent in Ibiza. The station aims to fill the appetite for dance music, which is huge in the region.
