Deeper Cuts Festival is bringing some of the UK’s best new music to Liverpool this weekend

Deeper Cuts Festival is happening: a three-venue interstellar event bringing vital new music to Liverpool city centre on Saturday 13 July 2019.
Deeper Cuts takes place at new music venue and record shop Phase One, the Kazimier Garden and new ‘secret’ space STOCKROOM – all on Seel Street in Liverpool city centre.
A city which thrives on innovative new music, Deeper Cuts blends the very best in ground-breaking European musicianship and thrilling Merseyside emerging talent.
Leading the Deeper Cuts billing are some of the finest and most critically acclaimed live bands from across the UK and Europe.
London’s Teeth of the Sea, Gum Takes Tooth and Housewives, Helicon from Glasgow, The Dream Machine All-Stars (a collective consisting legendary London/Parisian psychedelia outfit The Telescopes), Manchester’s URF and Cardiff’s Buzzard, Buzzard, Buzzard.
They join the very best in maverick new Merseyside artists including: thrash metallers Video Nasties, progressive rock outfit RongoRongo, industrial noise-makers LONESAW, newcomer Aimee Steven, dreampopper Ana Mae, poet-come-art-new-waver Douglas Savage, grunge trio SPILT, post-punk warlocks Yammerer, the new beast from Jo Mary/Hannah & The Wick Effect known as STORES, rock ‘n rollers The Gear, The Wire championed LO FIVE, glitch artists Baron Farg, Bye Louis and Foxen Cyn.
The infamous Karaoke Dungeon will round off proceedings with their glorious audience-participation led take on alternative classics, dressing up box and trashy bangers.
A DJ selection will include acclaimed Bristol record label Rocket Recordings and the Kazimier’s own KRUKTHRUST.
Deeper Cuts festival tickets are on sale priced £10 in advance – and can be purchased via Skiddle and www.getintothis.co.uk
The festival starts at 3pm with bands and DJs taking to all three spaces finishing at 3am.
