Defected are putting on an all-day party to mark the return of The Asylum

There are few names in house music quite as iconic as Defected, so what better way to mark the return of The Asylum than an all-day affair featuring some of their finest DJs, set in the unique and atmospheric courtyard of the Old Newsham Park Hospital in Liverpool.

Taking place on Saturday 27th June, the line-up consists of Defected’s finest across the length and breadth of the house spectrum.

Topping the bill is the evocative stylings of Claptone, the masked legend returning to Liverpool for the first time since 2017. Joining him is one of the kings of the disco-house movement, Purple Disco Machine an artist who has made a serious impression on the city in the past few years.

Also on the bill are Defected’s own first-lady Sam Divine, Roberto Surace, Ferreck Dawn and rising stars CDC and Dom Townsend.

Following a series of sell out shows The Asylum has garnered a reputation as one of the country’s most unique party locations, and after a two year hiatus its back for a full on ‘house’ session with Defected taking the reins with their values of inclusivity, togetherness and escapism on the dancefloor setting the tone. #TheAsylum #HouseMusicAllLifeLong
