New Indian restaurant, Delhi House, opens on Royal Albert Dock

Delhi House, Liverpoolās newest Indian restaurant, has opened at The Royal Albert Dock.
Promising to be the home to both authentic and modern Indian cuisine, Delhi House has been a firm favourite in Manchester since opening in 2020.
Now expanding to The Royal Albert Dock, the family run restaurant has unveiled its signature menu with classics including Momās Buttered Chicken Tikka Masala, Munirka Lamb Biryani and Goan Prawn Curry, as well as Delhi Houseās own unique creations with a modern twist such as the Roasted Chicken Sliders, the popular Butter Chicken Naan Pizza and much-loved Mutton Keema Tacos.
A range of delicious starters and sides are also on the menu.
Created by the Lamba family after relocating from Delhi to Manchester, the team will bring a true taste of Modern Indian dining and authentic Delhi flavours to the city and it seems that Liverpool is already anticipating the restaurantās opening as theyāve been inundated with bookings and are almost full for the rest of September.
With space for 120 diners, Delhi House will offer ground floor seating where guests can marvel at the open kitchen and the talented chefs that will be creating each and every dish as well as fresh naan breads that are made to order using the authentic tandoor oven.
Upstairs, those who are celebrating a special occasion or dining in a larger party can take full advantage of the beautiful private dining space on the mezzanine. Hosting up to 30 guests, set menus will be available for private events and throughout the festive period.
Adorned in gold hues, foliage and charming pendant lighting, Delhi Houseās interior boasts a welcoming atmosphere with a signature āFrom Delhi With Loveā neon sign and a distinctive āwall to rememberā.
The wall includes key moments and icons that have redefined Indian cuisine, people who are not so famous, coming from local streets, but have made a huge impact and left legacies. Delhi House hopes to be part of that with the wall also including Rajinder Lamba; Head of the Kitchen at Delhi House who creates all of the recipes and the signature dish Momās Butter Chicken Tikka Masala.

Preen, along with her family, take care of all aspects of Delhi House, with the help of their wonderful team. Varendra is Head of Expansion, Interiors and Development, Rajinder is Head of the Kitchen and all recipes are created by her. Sherry, 30, is Chef Patron and Head of Operations and Preen takes care of Marketing and Managing the venues.
