Delifonseca Dockside, the award-winning eatery and deli on Brunswick Way, is launching a series of exciting food and drink events aimed at encouraging more people to visit and support the much-loved local business.
After celebrating its 14th birthday, Delifonseca is stepping up efforts to navigate the challenges facing the hospitality industry, due to rising costs, by offering new dining experiences.
Running from mid-September through to December, the events, which will be led by Delifonseca’s experienced team and guest experts from across the country, will include everything from spice-themed evenings to wine and food pairings, offering something for every taste.
The series includes a Portuguese Wine & Food Night on Friday 20 September, followed by an Oktoberfest-themed food and beer evening on September 27, and a Champagne Tasting Night on October 4.
Candice Fonseca, Owner of Delifonseca, said:
“We know times are challenging for everyone, but we’ve always relied on the support of our local customers.
“After 14 years, we’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’ve had to adapt to keep things going, especially after expanding the restaurant right in the middle of lockdown. We’ve always run events, but now we’re increasing the number and variety to appeal to even more people. It’s all about offering something different while still giving diners a great experience.”
In addition to the upcoming events, the restaurant is offering special group bookings for celebrations, with complimentary birthday cakes for parties of eight or more who book a three-course meal on a Friday or Saturday.
Candice added:
“With plenty of space and a welcoming atmosphere, we really are inviting everyone – whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor – to join us for these events. Even though we’ve been in business for nearly two decades, with a few national awards under our belts, there are still plenty of people who don’t know who we are.
“For us to keep going, we need to reach those people and show them what we offer. That’s why we’re focusing on filling our calendar and finding new ways to connect with a wider audience. It’s all about making sure we stay relevant and continue to grow, especially in these tough times.”
