Destinations you can fly to from Liverpool in 2026

Marrakech with Ryanair

Ryanair will add a sixth plane to its fleet at LJLA this year as it launches new routes including the vibrant city of Marrakech in Morocco with its bustling souks, beautiful architecture and great food – especially if you love a tagine! Flights will be twice a week from April.

Lisbon with easyJet

Portugal’s capital city Lisbon has been a super-popular city break choice for a while thanks to its ancient history and cool culture as well as plenty of opportunities to enjoy traditional Fado music and delicious seafood – not forgetting endless fresh-baked pastel de nata pastries. easyJet flights start in April.

Cancun (via Dublin) with Aer Lingus

Fancy a winter sun long haul holiday? Aer Lingus has just launched its first service to Cancun and LJLA is one of the airports it’s flying out of. There’s a one-stop connection in Dublin, then you’re on your way to Mexican cuisine, stunning sandy beaches and temperatures in the high 20s even in January! 

Tirana with Ryanair

The lively capital of Albania, Tirana, is another of Ryanair’s new destinations for 2026. Less touristy than a lot of other European capital cities, it’s packed with culture and art, with a great nightlife, as well as fascinating history of its communist past. Twice a week flights from April.

Isle of Man with Logan Air or easyJet

For a break closer to home, with plenty of interesting heritage, the Isle of Man is a top pick especially if you love getting out into nature and exploring spectacular landscapes and rugged coastlines or visiting historic sights, museums and galleries. Fly now with easyJet or Loganair.

Madeira with Jet2

The scenery in Madeira is breathtaking and its location means the island enjoys lovely weather all year round. It’s known for lush landscapes, watersports and marine life so you can go whale or dolphin spotting before sampling some famous Madeira wine. Jet2 has once a week flights from January.

Paphos with easyJet

As the number one tourist destination in Cyprus, Paphos has something for everyone whether you want to lie on beautiful beaches, wander the Old Town or discover historical gems and ancient ruins like Paphos Castle and the Forty Columns Fortress. easyJet twice weekly flights start in August.

Malta with Jet2

Malta often tops lists of trending must-visit places and once you go, you can see why. It has everything, from sun-soaked beaches and coastal hikes to medieval fortresses, Michelin-starred dining and brilliant nightlife in places like St Julian’s. Jet2 flies there weekly from the end of March.

Naples with easyJet

Naples itself is a fascinating city to explore, for its art scene, history and amazing pizza in the place where it was invented, but it’s also the gateway to the south of Italy if you want to see the gorgeous Amalfi coast. easyJet is launching a new Naples route twice weekly from August.

Warsaw with Ryanair 

On the banks of the Vistula River, Poland’s largest city has incredible architecture, especially around its Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a perfect place to shop and explore galleries and museums, including the Polish Vodka Museum. Ryanair’s three flights a week start in February.

Antalya with Jet2

Antalya in Turkey is known as the Turquoise Coast and its natural beauty is spectacular. Adventure seekers will love the hiking routes, or you can just chill on golden beaches. Wander and dine in the cobbled streets of the old quarters then move on to lively nightlife. Jet2 flies there from February. 

Split with easyJet

Fantastic views of the Adriatic, ancient history including the UNESCO World Heritage Site Diocletian’s Palace, local markets and a booming scene of pubs, bars and clubs make Split one of the most popular places in Croatia for tourists. easyJet has flights twice a week from May. 

Rome with Ryanair

Visiting Rome is like stepping onto a film set, with world famous landmarks like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. It’s an ideal spot for designer shopping, and there’s the next level fresh pasta and pizza too. Ryanair has three flights a week from the end of March.

Cork with Ryanair

Ireland’s so easy to reach from Liverpool, so add Cork to your must-go list in 2026. Known as Ireland’s food capital, it’s got a rich ancient history that you can still see, including Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral and Cork City Gaol which is now a museum. Ryanair flights increase to six days a week in summer.
