The Bold

Steeped in history, The Bold Hotel was originally constructed in 1832 by Thomas Mawdsley, built in late Georgian style.

Situated amidst the Victorian grandeur of Lord Street, an elegant tree-lined Boulevard in the heart of Southport, Merseyside. Having undergone an inital £2 million refurbishment in 2015 with a further £300,000 spent on further renovations in Early 2020, our Grade II listed hotel offers luxurious accommodation and elegant, stylish surroundings in which you can dine at our carvery, enjoy a drink or catch up with friends. We also have a beautiful function room, complete with a fabulously dazzling bespoke chandelier, available to hire for your private parties and functions.

Each of the hotel’s 23 spacious and luxuriously appointed, en suite bedrooms are well equipped with all the modern facilities needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Some even have beautiful Victorian bay windows with views overlooking Lord Street.
