Disco Glitter Love at Constellations this Saturday
7 years ago

We all love a bit of disco and after the success of Liverpool Disco Festival last month that fact was proven even more so. Don’t be putting the glitter away just yet though because there is something else for Disco lovers happening this weekend.
This Saturday sees the return of Disco Glitter Love at Constellations in the Baltic Triangle which explores the future sounds of Disco.
On the 12th November Constellations will be transformed into a futuristic disco space station as we ready ourselves for blast off, as DGL is all set to blaze a trail across the cosmos once more!
DGL centres around the disco triumphs of the 70s, the ethos of the New York club scene in the 80s and 90s, that feeling you get when you lose yourself on the dance floor; it’s disco’s sexual ambiguity, multiracial and infectious hedonism that is at the centre of the DGL brand.
Headliner for the 12th of November is Sean Johnston (A Love From Outer Space), alongside our favourite disco spinning residents.
Sean Johnston has been DJ’ing since his formative years in the frozen North. Acid House Veteran, Techno Survivor, Hardway Bros, Beard Scientist and Freelance Disco Consultant he has played at some of London’s landmark clubs including The Promised Land, Sabre Sonic, Club UK, Final Frontier and Disco Bloodbath.
Sean’s DJ’ing style described by FACT Magazine as “Future Disco” is hard to pin down to one convenient genre, taking in house, disco, re-edits, techno and frankly anything else that takes his fancy.
