Fun, friendly and serving a feel-good vibe with every order, Entry Bar Liverpool is a brand-new outdoor drinks venue on Seel Street.
Itâs opened next to the Epic Hotel in the city centre and, while other outdoor bars might eventually go back inside, this continental-style drinks diva is here to stay whatever the weather, or season!
Manager Steven Mealor says:
âWeâve taken inspiration from European cities like Paris and Amsterdam which have outdoor bars all year round.”
âCovid and lockdowns might have prompted it now, but itâs always been the plan to create a unique, comfortable, covered outdoor space with a continental feel, and with the colour and vibrancy of a Mediterranean cafĂ© bar.
âWe donât believe thereâs anywhere else like it in the city.â
Premium cocktails, wines, spirits and beers are on the menu of Entry Bar Liverpool. It is open every day from 12pm until 12am.
And while the experienced mixers behind the bar can fix you an Espresso Martini or a Porn Star Martini, theyâd quite like to treat you to the taste of something new with their range of original cocktails. These include the Sweet Pisco Punch, which blends Aba Pisco – a Chilean liqueur made from Muscat Grapes â with Limoncello, Passoa, Passionfruit, Lemon and Pineapple.
You donât need to worry about feeling the cold because Entry Bar Liverpool will make sure youâre as warm as their welcome: âWeâve got blankets and every table is under a heater,â adds Steven, âand itâs covered from the rain so no-oneâs going to get wet.â
A huge bright and brilliantly-coloured artwork by Liverpool artist John Culshaw dominates the container-based bar, and beneath the twinkling lights strung across the space are wooden tables and boldly-painted chairs.
âItâs just fun and different,â says Steven. âYou donât have to book, itâs walk-ins only; thereâs music and a great lively, chatty atmosphere. So far weâre been really busy – people seem to love us.â
