Wherever you’re stopping off before or after a show, or looking for a new, affordable dining alternative, make a date this Christmas with award-winning chef, Sky Glover at Happy Go Cooking, presenting a beautiful pop-up restaurant experience hosted by Unity Theatre.
Under a ceiling of balloons and stars, Soul Fillers serves a fabulous, festive food menu with a social conscience.
The stunning, pop-up restaurant was especially created as a training initiative for people who are passionate about building careers in the catering industry despite experiencing mental health issues or obstacles to learning.
At only £15 per person, the bespoke, shared platters offer fabulous food with a social conscience.
Available to book for intimate dinners or Christmas group bookings, you can enjoy a selection of delicious, festive-themed delicacies, with an impressive menu including Christmas nut roast, Silverside beef-filled Yorkshire puddings drizzled in a rich gravy, pigs in blankets, roast turkey and honey ham, cranberry sandwiches, or the mackerel pate with spinach and beetroot costini.
For an additional £5, add a dessert selection for £20 per person, including apple and pear pies, double chocolate orange cake, or a cheese board and crackers.
The Unity Bar selection is equally as impressive with regular offers and of course, fully stocked with a range of locally produced drinks.
These include wine options from Dale Street’s RH&Y Wine, the Baltic’s Love Lane Brewery and Liverpool Gin Distillery based on Castle Street and Speke’s Big Bog Brewing Company.
