Disney Magic returns to Cruise Liverpool: Everything you need to know about Magic on the Mersey

For Disney lovers, the most anticipated cruise ship of the season returns to the River Mersey this week and Disney Magic will bring a little bit of magic for everyone.
Disney Cruise Liner, Disney Magic returns to Liverpool on Friday 13th September 2019 and the magic will flow right into princes Parade, Princes Dock.
Carrying around 1700 passengers, 900 crew and a whole load of fairy dust, Disney Magic will spend the day at Cruise Terminal Liverpool where the team have organised an un-missable free, after school sail away party.
Why not plan an unforgettable evening on the waterfront and bring the kids down in their favourite Disney costumes, to sing, dance and get ready for the big send off with a special concert on the quayside – complete with confetti cannons! Scroll down for all the event info.

Where & When
Disney Magic will be arriving on the River Mersey and birthing at Cruise Liverpool from around 7am. She’ll be with us all day until a very special sail away show from 6pm.
Magic on the Mersey takes place on Friday 13th September at Cruise Terminal Liverpool, Princes Parade, Princes Dock. The after school fun begins at 3pm and the ship will set sail again between 6pm and 6:45pm.
How To Get There
Train
Merseyrail operates frequent services to and from Liverpool city centre. Your nearest station to Cruise Liverpool is James Street which is just a five minute walk away. A family of 5 can enjoy unlimited travel for as little as ÂŁ11, off peak, with a Merseyrail family ticket. Plan your journey here.
Bus
Liverpool ONE bus station is just a 10 minute walk along the The Strand or waterfront from Cruise Liverpool. Arriva North West operates numerous services to this main bus station. Download the Arriva app, buy tickets and plan your journey here.

Please note that Princes Parade on Princes Dock will be closed from 2:30pm to traffic. Our advice is to use public transport.
What’s On
Magic on The Mersey always brings lots of excited Disney fans of all ages down to the waterfront. To ensure everyone has fun, not just the visiting passengers, Cruise Liverpool has put together a brand new programme of entertainment on Princes Parade on Princes Dock. Starting from 3pm and running until Disney Magic sails off up the River Mersey from 6pm, this free to attend event has something for everyone.
From 3pm until 6pm you can expect exciting street theatre and performances. The Adam Brown Dance Company, Movema and Pagoda Arts will be busting some moves while Radio City provides the tunes. There’s free face painting with Fabaroony, a chance to watch Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu and hear the beautiful SoSo Choir perform live. We hear there’s also going to be a visit from a very famous face or two. Who could it be?
From 6pm until 6:45pm there will be a very special choreographed sail away concert on the quayside as Disney Magic prepares to set sail once again. Make sure you’ve got your spec along the waterfront and get ready to sing, wave and watch for the confetti cannons!
