After months of setbacks the traditional Neapolitan style Italian restaurant, Dough Dough, is now open on Ranelagh Street in Liverpool City Centre.
Founder of the Dough Dough brand, Des Pheby, says the launch is a bright spark at the end of a dismal year.
“We’re all ready for the end of this dreadful year and we’re seeing the opening of Dough Dough Liverpool as, hopefully, a turning point towards a better year in 2021” said Mr. Pheby.

There’s a lot to look forward to – and the freshly-made pizzas, created with their signature dough and cooked to perfection in wood-fired ovens with a delicious puffed-up crust, are just the start.
You can add to that a range of delicious craft beers from some of the UK’s most exciting breweries including, of course, some of the city’s own, all hand-selected to complement the food.
This becomes the second Dough Dough site after the initial restaurant opened in Chester in 2019. The brand, who deliver traditional Neapolitan pizzas cooked with Italian ingredients are also on course to open two further sites, in Warrington and Derby, in 2021.
Dough Dough has big plans for 2021 onwards, with the aim being to host events with live music, themed nights, cocktail and gin brunches and more. For now, the brand will be strictly adhering to the restrictions based on government guidelines. Customers will still be able to get their hands on all items of the delicious menu, taste the craft ale and get their hands on the vast number of gins and cocktails on offer.
