easyJet has today announced it will launch two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to the Norwegian capital Oslo and winter hot-spot Sharm-el-Sheikh, in Egypt providing more choice and variety for customers flying with the airline this winter.
Oslo is a brand-new destination on easyJet’s network this year where vibrant nightlife, diverse cuisine and iconic architecture meet scenic natural beauty.
Both services will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays throughout the winter with flights to Oslo beginning on 29th November while flights to Sharm-el-Shiekh start on 14th February. Sharm-el Shiekh represents a fantastic destination with guaranteed sunshine through the winter months.
The two new routes mean easyJet has added eleven new services to its Liverpool network over the last 12 months, following new flights being introduced to Derry, Malta, Enfida in Tunisia, Hurghada in Egypt, Corfu, Berlin, Prague, Fuerteventura and Marrakech.
Commenting on the new routes, Ali Gayward, UK Country manager, easyJet, said:
“We are delighted to be announcing two new routes from Liverpool, to Sharm-el-Sheikh and Oslo – a brand new destination for easyJet this year, which will appeal to leisure and business customers alike – while Sharm adds to the choice on offer for those looking for winter holidays this year.

“The new route to Oslo will allow football supporters to fly direct to Liverpool to see the reds, whilst Sharm El Sheikh is an exciting new long sector addition to the network.”
