easyJet is expanding its Liverpool John Lennon Airport offering once again with the launch of a brand new route to Seville for summer 2026.

The airline has confirmed that flights to the Spanish city are now on sale, with the twice-weekly service set to take off from 2 August. Departures will run on Thursdays and Sundays, giving travellers the option of both short breaks and longer summer getaways.

Seville becomes the latest addition to easyJet’s growing network from Liverpool, which now includes 41 routes across 18 countries. Fares for the new route start from £39.49, with bookings available via the airline’s website and mobile app.

Known for its rich culture, historic architecture and lively food scene, Seville is expected to be a popular choice for holidaymakers looking to head to the sun direct from the North West.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has also welcomed the announcement, highlighting continued demand for both leisure travel and inbound tourism.

Paul Winfield, Aviation Director at LJLA, said: “We are delighted to welcome another fantastic easyJet route to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Seville is a stunning cultural destination with strong demand for both outbound leisure travel and inbound tourism.

“easyJet’s continued growth here at the North West’s Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport demonstrates the strength of the Liverpool market, and we anticipate this new Seville service will be very popular with travellers across the region.”

An extra aircraft was also based at the airport over the summer, bringing the total fleet in Liverpool to eight and allowing for more flexibility across European and North African routes.

easyJet, which celebrates 30 years in operation, has flown more than 800 million passengers to and from the UK.

It now operates from 22 UK airports, offering over 650 routes to nearly 140 destinations.
