easyJet launches Twilight Bag Drop service at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

easyJet has introduced its free Twilight Bag Drop service at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, giving passengers on early morning flights the option to check in their luggage the evening before they travel.

The service is available from today for flights departing before 7.30am the following morning. Passengers can drop their bags between 7.30pm and 9pm the night before, allowing them to head straight to security on the day of travel.

Customers using Twilight Bag Drop will also receive up to one hour of free parking in the airport’s Drop Off 2 car park by presenting their baggage token when exiting.

The airline says the new service is designed to make journeys smoother for families and holidaymakers travelling from Liverpool, whether they are heading away for winter sun, ski trips or half term and Easter breaks.

Twilight Bag Drop is already available at several other UK airports including Gatwick Airport, London Luton Airport, Bristol Airport, Manchester Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Belfast International Airport, Glasgow Airport and Birmingham Airport.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the airline is focused on making travel as simple as possible and that the new option will offer greater convenience for passengers flying from Liverpool.
