El Gato Negro announces opening date for Castle Street Venue

MHDL, the multi-site restaurant operator, is delighted to confirm that El Gato Negro Tapas will officially open its doors at its new home on Castle Street on Friday 28th February.

Following the announcement of its relocation from Exchange Flags, El Gato Negro’s move to Castle Street marks an exciting new era for the beloved tapas restaurant, bringing its award-winning Spanish cuisine to one of Liverpool’s most vibrant dining destinations.

The new location will offer the same experience that guests have come to love, alongside new dishes and an addition to their usual offers.

To celebrate the opening, guests can enjoy two of El Gato Negro’s favourite promotions. From Monday to Friday from 12-5 Diners can enjoy three tapas dishes for £20 as well as their brand new 2 for £15 for those that like a lighter lunch, Saturday diners can enjoy three tapas for £20 until 4pm. To start the weekend, they have their ever-popular version of bottomless brunch; Tipsy Tapas. Join them on Fridays and Saturdays 12pm- 4pm for three select dishes and 90 minutes of delicious signature drinks.

Additionally, guests can look forward to exciting new dishes exclusive to Liverpool, including Tempura Monkfish with tartare sauce and the traditional Spanish dish, huevos rotos con jamón, a unique take on ‘Ham, Egg and Chips’ featuring Serrano, truffle shoestring fries, and a fried egg.
