Point Blank Shooting in Castle Street is a state-of-the-art simulation shooting range in the former basement site of Olive, where groups can compete to get the highest scores by firing their way through a series of courses with replica guns which uses the latest laser technology accurate to within .03 of a millimetre.

It’s all about speed and precision – there are no real-life targets or graphic imagery – and there are more than 200 scenarios to test your aim and reflexes.

But of course, winning can be hard work, and if you need to refuel, Point Blank’s armoury is packed.

There’s a new food menu with pizza, fries, hot dogs and more – and if you’re really feeling hungry, what about a kilo of chicken wings coated in the sauce of your choice?

And when it comes to drink, the choice is yours! They’re talking bespoke cocktails, frosty steins, and, even, a little fizz to make your evening – or afternoon – pop!

There’s also a new cocktail menu with aptly named drinks like Shot In The Dark, Bulleitproof and Staring Down the Barrel, and if you want to treat yourself to more than one why not get there for Trigger Happy Hour before 7pm each day when it’s two for £12 (excluding Saturday).

Better still, you can bank on Bottomless Brunch hitting the target with unlimited pizza, beer and Prosecco, and – it goes without saying – plenty of shooting at £35 for 90 minutes.

‘Due to recent developments, understandably many hospitality companies including ourselves have had bookings move to the new year.

However, good news, with these bookings being pre-paid, we’d like to offer these slots free to NHS and emergency services workers.
