Eurovision Daily Saturday 13th May: over Fifty events taking place for The Final

Can you believe it’s nearly all over? After months of anticipation, the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest has finally arrived!
Liverpool is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the Grand Final of Eurovision, with over 50 events taking place throughout the city. From screenings to parties, there is something for everyone to get involved in.
One highlight of the celebrations will be the, sold-out, Eurovision Village – where an all-star line-up including Steps’ Claire Richards and The Vengaboys will be performing.
The city has been buzzing with excitement, we really have done an excellent job hosting the event and showcasing Ukrainian culture, it’s safe to say we’ve done them proud.

Eurovision Final Warm Up Party!
Join Elysium (Formerly Garlands) for a flamboyant night of party antics, Drag, DJs and much more funky and fun filled Friday antics.
Their drag acts will be entertaining you through the evening with DJs taking the party till late with a mix of party anthems, pop, Eurovision classics (and not so classics).

EuroFestival – ENO does Eurovision
Two very different musical worlds: one epic outdoor performance. The world-renowned ENO Chorus and Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, are joined by former Eurovision contestants and international opera stars to perform classical arrangements of some of the Song Contest’s greatest hits. Expect bright costumes, rousing choirs, fabulous divas and sing-along tunes.
Winning Eurovision songs, interval acts like Riverdance and Eurovision’s long-standing theme music – Charpentier’s Te Deum – are given the orchestral treatment. Joyful, moving and loud, this project promises to perfectly capture the spirit of Eurovision.

Eurovision Craft Workshop – The Atkinson
Join The Atkinson’s Art Box for an arts and crafts workshop suitable for all the family. There’s something for all ages, with all materials supplied and all for free!
Drop-in any time between 11am – 3pm and get creative.
Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
First come first served. You may be expected to wait until a space at a craft table becomes available.

Eurovision Brunch – Slug and Lettuce
Who’s up for a little boozy euphoria? Join Slug and Lettuce for a totally extra celebration of lush dishes, bottomless drinks and your own glitzy glasses and temporary tats, all while you sing along to the top tracks from years gone by!

Southport Calling
Southport Calling, which will take place on the Lord Street Bandstand on May 13, will be a fun-filled celebration of the best and brightest musical talent from the local community.
This will include dance groups, live bands, string musicians, and performances from the Sing For Southport competition finalists. The event will be hosted by the team at Sandgrounder Radio.
The Sing for Southport competition will start from 2.00pm, with talented vocalists performing to compete for the top prize.
Bottomless Brunch – Aloft Liverpool
You best believe Aloft Liverpool are getting in on the action. Expect the usual Bottomless brunch fun with a Eurovision twist and more.
Enjoy Bottomless Brunch all things Eurovision with a Live DJ from 1pm onwards followed by Live screening of the 2023 Eurovision final for all to enjoy.

Euro Jammin’ – District
As part of Liverpool’s Eurovision festivities, District is hosting EuroJammin’ – a Saturday afternoon session, celebrating Europe’s love of Jamaican music.

Concert Square Eurovision Party, The Final!
The whole programme will be one big, free party for all, so in honour of the universally adored Eurovision legends ABBA, the industry-leading tribute band ABBA Forever will entertain the crowds across all three dates with a set list of iconic anthems guaranteed to get people singing and dancing, with hands in the air! Recognised as one of the best recreations of the seminal group live in concert, there will be no better place in the city to embrace the full Eurovision party spirit.

Eurovision Extravaganza – The Adelphi Hotel
The show will be on a giant screen in their iconic Banqueting Hall, hosted by show man Super Steve.
Fun and games to be played as well arrival drinks, live entertainment throughout and a three-course gala dinner.
