Eurovision: Five places to eat in Liverpool!

With thousands of people set to descend on Liverpool including; tourists, foreign delegates, and lets not forget the Eurovision entries themselves – the city’s hospitality industry is going to be booming!
Eurovision fever has officially arrived here in Liverpool, so if you’re out visiting some of the amazing art installations, like Home.Perspectives at Open Eye Gallery – which opens today at 6.00pm – or perhaps you’re finding all 12 Soloveiko Songbirds – then you’re going to need to keep your energy up with some boss food.
Liverpool is full of fantastic restaurants and although some of them aren’t putting on a Eurovision special – that doesn’t mean it isn’t as important to visit them!

La Bistroteca – Baltic Market
La Bistroteca will join the plethora of kitchens at Baltic Market from today, 4 May.
It has been created by Liverpool chef Livia Alarcon, and will specialise in European bistro food that draws from her decade-long career so far.

PICNIC – Smithdown Road
PICNIC on Smithdown Road are one of 5 restaurants taking part in Deliveroo’s new Deliver-pudlian campaign – they have created a phonetic Scouse menu to help tourists visiting the city understand the lingo.

Gino’s Sky Bar 360 – Old Hall Street
Enjoy afternoon tea at the Sky Bar, Eurovision style, with a bespoke cocktail included from bank holiday from now until Saturday 13 May.
You can also join them for a candlelit evening ode to the event on Wednesday 10 May only, with a live piano player creating beautiful versions of Eurovision’s most iconic tracks plus themed drinks and canapés.

Albert’s Schloss
Albert’s Schloss have got their usual 7 days of show time with live music, bands, singers, and DJ’s – and they will be taking inspiration from Eurovision from next week so there will be a different experience for guests. Alongside this they have some great Ukrainian specials coming up including a Schnitzel Kyiv and 3 Eurovision themed cocktails.

Mamasan
The Roof Garden at Mamasan will host a late night terrace disco with DJs playing Eurovision Hits and Disco through to the early hours! These nights are sure to be the perfect way to celebrate the festival.
