There are Eurovision screenings happening right across Liverpool City Region, including on the Wirral.
Eurovision is just weeks away and Merseyside is ready, but where can you watch the big final on the Wirral – here are 7 ideas.
Liverpool might be the host city for Eurovision, but it feels like the huge buzz around contest is everywhere across the region.
Here’s where to watch a live screening of the final in Wirral and join in the Eurovision party …
Floral Pavilion, New Brighton
A Eurovision Gala Dinner including live screening is happening at the Floral Pavilion on Saturday May 13 for the Eurovision final. The night is being hosted by Radio Merseyside’s Billy Hui and there’ll be a menu of European food, Bucks Fizz and Eurovision-themed cocktails, plus a chance to bid in an auction for your favourite country to win with proceeds going to New Brighton Pride. Find out more here.
Heswall Hall
Heswall Hall is throwing its own Eurovision party on May 13 with a live big screen stream of the event so you get a cinema-style experience in a lovely community setting. It’ll be a great one for getting family, friends and neighbours together, with European-themed grazing platters to keep everyone going through a long night of music and voting, and a glass of fizz for the traditional Terry Wogan toast. Find out more here.

Vue Birkenhead
Vue Cinema in Birkenhead is giving fans the chance to watch the final live on one of its big screens so fans can get to see every country’s entry – and the all-important voting – larger than life and as it happens. Vue is one of more than 500 cinemas across the UK which will be broadcasting the final for the first time this year in honour of our hosting. Find out more here.
Leaf, West Kirby
Eurovision night at Leaf in West Kirby doesn’t end when the winner’s announced, it’s got hours of partying still left in it. Tickets get you a Bucks Fizz and guaranteed seat for the live screening – it’s first come, first served so get there early if you want the best view. There’ll be a Eurovision-inspired menu served through the evening then you can carry on dancing once the judging’s over. Find out more here.
Start-Yard, Birkenhead
Make a night of it and soak up some Eurovision nostalgia at Start-Yard’s party on finals night. The big screen will be showing all the action, and they’re playing a whole set of past winning songs so you can sing along and relive the absolute classics (and some shockers!). It’s on from 7-10pm and the café bar is open so you can grab some food in between songs too. Visit the website here.
Wirral Rugby Club
If you feel like going all-out and dressing up to celebrate Eurovision, here’s your chance because Wirral RFC is hosting a Eurovision party on May 13 and it’s encouraging European-themed fancy dress (although it is optional so you can still go just as you are). There’ll be food, games and a sweepstake on the night, it’s free entry and a 6.30pm start. Book tickets here.
The Light Cinema, New Brighton
Another opportunity to see all the best – and probably some of the worst which is also the funniest – that Eurovision has to offer in cinema size because The Light in New Brighton is one of the cinemas bringing fans together to be ‘united by music’ by screening the final live. It starts at 7.15pm and there’ll be pre-show entertainment from 6pm. Find out more here.
Woodside Ferry Village
Tickets for this one have all sold, but if you did manage to snap one up then look forward to a night of Eurovision then and now, with a live screening of the 2023 final, plus an Abba tribute act bringing back the Eurovision glory days of 1974 and Waterloo. The market’s vendors will be serving a global menu of food too. Read more here.
