Everton FC announce new International partnership with Vegas United

Vegas United Soccer Club, a thriving junior club based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is to join forces with the Everton International Academy.

The Nevada-based organisation is the latest addition to Everton’s International Academy Affiliate Programme (EIAAP) – and is now set to work under the Everton curriculum, style of play, training sessions, analysis videos, sports psychology, and coaches’ education.

The EIAAP initiative provides clubs at all tiers of the game with access to the finest coaching knowledge from Everton’s renowned Academy to support with growth – a level of support that sets it apart from more traditional models.

These include:

* An integrated approach to player, coach and club development, offering technical support from Everton’s Finch Farm training complex and business and marketing support from its Royal Liver Building business headquarters.

* Regular support from a dedicated Everton Academy coach.

* Full access to the Everton Academy curriculum.

Vegas United Soccer Club is a provider of youth sports across the community. The Club, with its own top class, private facilities in Summerlin, enrols between 150-200 youngsters every year across three levels of player pathway: Club, Academy, and Elite.

The latest affiliation marks Everton’s continued expansion into North America and highlights the Club’s commitment to making a meaningful impact at the grassroots level on a global scale.

Launched in 2020, Everton’s International Academy Affiliate Programme provides a unique opportunity for clubs of all sizes – from grassroots teams, professional sides, youth academies, girls’ and women’s teams, as well as colleges and universities – to connect with the Premier League club’s coaching expertise and development infrastructure.

The programme, which aims to expand the knowledge and expertise of Everton’s player development processes to affiliated clubs across the world, has affiliates in the US, Canada, South America, Africa, Australia and Ireland.
