Everything you need to know about Gaucho Liverpool

Gaucho has arrived in Liverpool! The award-winning steak restaurant officially opened its doors on Wednesday, November 23, and has so far been over-whelmed by the welcome it has received from the city.
The launch event saw over 600 people come through the iconic tiger-head doors, including some celebrity fans!
Celebrities included ex-footballers Ian Rush and Peter Reid as well as Dr Ranj and Jennifer Ellison. At both events the team at Gaucho had an amazing raffle that guests could take part in to help raise money for Alder Hey Childrenâs Hospital. The restaurant has pledged to donate at least ÂŁ10,000 to fully fit two parentsâ rooms in the hospitalâs new neonatal unit.
This iconic building boasts a 200-covered dining room, late-night bar and entertainment, private dining rooms and the fantastic steak.
It has to be said that the interior is stunning! It is pure class, the furnishings are beautiful and complement the inside of the Grade II listed building perfectly. Gaucho has been praised for bringing the iconic No. 7 Water Street back to life, with the company investing a seven-figure sum to renovate the building, which has been closed and unused since 2015.
Service is at the forefront of Gaucho – the team have been rigorously trained in their academy to be knowledgeable of the products that they are selling, and are on-hand to make sure their guests have a world class experience. They bring the cuts of steak to the table, talking through the differences in taste and texture profiles, so that guests can make a more informed decision on what they want to order.
Letâs talk about the important stuff⊠the food! They have a selection of light starters an nibbles so as not ruin your main course, dishes include; steak tartare – sirloin, palm heart emulsion, confit duck egg, cracker, and their seared scallops.
As well as the 20+ variations of steak on the menu, they also have pasta, salads, seafood, and chicken for you to choose from. They have a great range of sauces to compliment your steak including peppercorn, béarnaise and blue cheese. Classic sides such as chips with thyme salt, creamed mashed potato and truffle mac & cheese are available too.
They have an extensive desserts menu with favourites including; tray baked cookie dough, sticky apple & date pudding, and their salted caramel cheesecake with toasted marshmallows on the side – you wonât want to miss out on these sweet treats!
Join them every Sunday for their bottomless roast with live music. Each week Gaucho will be inviting down some of their favourite local artists to showcase their sounds, across several genres. Sunday Sessions will be all about creating the perfect relaxed atmosphere.
The Beef Bar is also a unique experience with a twist! Take a seat at Gaucho’s eight-seater counter-top beef bar and dine from their Argentine beef tasting menu from ÂŁ50. Watch as your personal chef prepares each cut of high-quality beef to your taste.
The restaurant has also launched Gaucho Lates, just in time for the Christmas party season. Gaucho Lates will bring the party and the culture of modern Argentina to Liverpool every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night with DJâs, entertainment and live music. With a bar menu of light bites available until 12.30pm it will be a destination for those looking for a perfect place to end their night.
As part of their roadmap to becoming net zero, the beef offering in their venue is 100% carbon neutral. They work to reduce their carbon footprint at source, and have partnered with the âNot For Saleâ charity to support carbon offsetting reforestation projects in the Amazon, taking local people out of danger of modern-day slavery.Â
