Advertorial
Yet another home of Booze & Ball Games is coming to Liverpool!
Roxy Lanes School Lane will be the first Lanes in the city, with bowling and brand-new games including ice-free curling all under one roof!
It’s sister venues include Roxy Ball Room Cavern Quarter and Hanover Street, the giant adults playgrounds, known for their amazing party atmosphere – Roxy Lanes will be family-friendly in the daytime. Under-18s can get involved in the fun when accompanied by an adult (ask the venue for the times).
Here’s what you can expect from a day or night at Roxy Lanes …
When is Roxy Lanes School Lane opening?
The new venue is now open and will be open every day of the week.
How does Roxy Lanes compare to Roxy Ball Rooms?
The biggest difference though is kids accompanied by an adult can play at Roxy Lanes, before 5pm, and there’s no age limit so it’s the perfect place for a family afternoon out. After that, it’ll be a standard adults-only Roxy night out.
What about the games?
Like the name says, the emphasis is on bowling at Roxy Lanes, but there’s plenty more too and that includes plenty other games including – ice-free curling and tech darts. There’ll also be American pool, beer pong, shuffleboard and karaoke. The ice-free curling is the first to land in the city and it’s a massive hit in other venues around the country so it’s bound to be huge in Liverpool. It’s just like the curling you see at the Olympics, with target circles, stones to slide and brushes to sweep them towards a win, but it’s played on synthetic ice instead of the real stuff.
How about bowling?
Roxy Lanes will have eight full-sized 10-pin bowling lanes and there’ll be lighter balls available so they’re easier for all ages to play with.
Does Roxy Lanes have the same atmosphere as a Roxy Ball Room?
It does – it still has Roxy’s trademark indie/rock-inspired look and soundtrack.
What’s on the menu?
Nothing should get in the way of gaming, so all the food is easy to eat while you play – expect American-style pizzas, hot dogs, wings and fries including Roxy’s special super-cheesy loaded fries. There’s a newly-launched cocktail menu, with signatures and classics, beers, gin serves, spritzes and shots to make sure your bowling arm’s always kept busy!
Anything special for parties?
Roxy Lanes is made for partying and that’s definitely true at Christmas time – there’s three different festive packages to choose from so you can have yourself a ballin’ Christmas whatever the budget!
