Everything you need to know about the Winter Funland all inclusive ticket

Winter Funland is the North West’s largest indoor Winter wonderland and it is back this December, you can experience 5 huge attractions with one all inclusive ticket.

As we know, there’s lots going on in Liverpool this Christmas. But, if you fancy a change of scenery, just up the M62 there’s a magical Christmas experience for the whole family.

Winter Funland is back at Event City, opposite the Intu Trafford Centre now and features Manchester’s biggest real ice ice-rink, magical festive circus, gigantic indoor funfair, Christmas panto and of course, the all important Santa’s Grotto!

The best part of a visit to Winter Funland is that one ticket gives you access to all the attractions, rides and shows. The all inclusive price enabled families to make the most of their chosen 4 hour time slot to take in all the sights, sounds and thrill rides, all under one HUGE roof!

From live reindeer and fearless flying trapeze artists to comedy clowns, dodgems and Santa himself, a trip to WinterFunland is a real treat, whatever the weather, for the whole family, this Christmas.

When & Where

Winter Funland takes place at EventCity, which is located opposite the Intu Trafford Centre. If you’re driving to the venue, use postcode M17 8AS in your SAT Nav. There are 3000 free parking spaces at the venue. Winter Funland opens on 6th December and runs on selected dates until 4th January 2020.

What’s On

There’s a whole host of amazing attractions on offer at Winter Funland. Keep your eyes peeled for flying acrobats, get your skates on and take to the ice, snap a selfie with a real life reindeer and more. With one ticket you can experience ALL of the following festive attractions;

Circus Show

It’s all eyes on the big top at Winter Funland as you get settled with popcorn and candy floss to see a mesmerising live Christmas Circus show. Expect Winter fairies flying over head, The Grinch getting up to mischief and lots more.

Ice Skating

You’ll find Manchester’s largest real ice, ice rink at Winter Funland this Christmas. Suitable for children age 4 and up, you can practise your skills or hold on to a handy penguin to steady your legs.

Christmas Panto

Brand new for Winter Funland 2019, families can enjoy a traditional Christmas Panto show in the theatre with regular timed performances throughout each day. Get ready to join in ‘Oh yes you will’!

Funfair Rides

Winter Funland will have the very best rides from across the UK for your enjoyment, from traditional carousels to helter skelters and not forgetting the ever popular Dodgems. There’s a thrill ride for all ages to enjoy.

Santa Grotto

No Christmas family day out would be complete without a trip to see Santa. Winter Funland is where you’ll find the man himself, beard, belly and jolly smile included! Visiting the Grotto and meeting Santa is included in your ticket price. There is an opportunity to purchase a photo and special gift before entering the Grotto too. The Grotto is only open until Christmas Eve.

Tickets

There are a number of ticket options available for Winter Funland. First up, children under the age of three, go free! Child tickets are priced £23.50 plus £1.50 booking fee. Adult tickets are priced £23.50 plus £1.50 booking fee. Family tickets are available, priced at £89.00 plus £3.50 booking fee. A family ticket permits entry for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children only.

You may want to skip the queues when it comes to meeting Santa, in which case you can purchase a fast track ticket for £3.30, including booking fee. This is in addition to your general entry ticket. More info on Winter Funland tickets is available here. 

Accessibility

Winter Funland is dedicated to creating a fun event that everyone can enjoy. As part of this commitment, full-paying disabled ticket holders are entitled to one free ticket for their carer/personal assistant. Free carer tickets can be booked by calling Ticketline on 0161 832 111.

There is disabled parking available at the venue and disabled toilets within EventCity. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible too. For more on accessibility, head this way. 

Handy Hints

Children must be supervised at all times during your visit to Winter Funland.

This is a family attraction and therefore no adults will be admitted without an accompanying child.

Session times last 4 hours, starting at the time stated on your ticket. The queue for Santa’s Grotto will close 60 minutes prior to the end of the session.

A variety of food and drink is available at the venue including children’s sized portions. No food or drink may be taken into the venue. Vegan and Veggie.

There are cash machines on site.

There is also a baby change, cloak room, breast feeding and baby chill out zone available at Winter Funland.
