Fare changes for Arriva buses on Merseyside

Arriva is making changes to its fares across Merseyside, Manchester and Cheshire in a bid to improve its services, offering increased flexibility and travel options for its passengers.

From Sunday 31 March, the new fares will be in place.

Merseyside and Halton

Merseyside Plus Zone

New special return tickets will also be introduced for Southport local services (priced at £4.40), and for St Helens local services (£4.00).

The Merseyside flat fare is unchanged, while a Halton day ticket will cost £4.20.

Adult fares

• Day saver: £4.50

• Weekly saver: £16.00 (price frozen at £15 on the M-ticket app)

• 4-Weekly saver: £54.50 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

• Annual saver: £545.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

Young Person

• Day saver: £2.20 (My Ticket)

• Weekly saver: £10.00

• 4-Weekly saver: £35.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

New family tickets will also be available from 9:30am Monday-Friday and all day on weekends and Bank Holidays in the Merseyside Plus Zone. These will cost £10.00.

NEW North West Zone

Adult fares

• Day saver: £5.50

• Weekly saver: £18.00

• 4-Weekly saver: £63.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

• Annual saver: £630.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

Child fares

• Day saver: £3.50

• Weekly saver: £12.00

• 4-Weekly saver: £42.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

• Annual saver: £420.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

Family day savers will cost £12.00

All Area Weekly Saver (North West and Wales)

Adult fares

• Day saver: £5.80

• Weekly saver: £20.00

• 4-Weekly saver: £68.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

• Annual saver: £680.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

Child fares

• Day saver: £3.80

• Weekly saver: £14.00

• 4-Weekly saver: £47.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

• Annual saver: £470.00 (available online or on the M-ticket app only)

Family day savers will cost £13.00
