Going Out
Feast of Pop Up Food & Drink Events at Constellations in 2017
6 years ago

Constellations in the Baltic Triangle are getting ready for the year ahead and with it they have a clear focus on food and drink led experiences.
The venue’s events team are busy preparing an exciting programme of Pop-Up events and Festivals to sit alongside the already established annual events programme including the Liverpool Craft Beer Expo, regular Summer Garden BBQs and the Pizza & Prosecco Festival later in the year.
First up is Chef Sean Paul’s Pop-Up. After selling out in just a few days Sean-Paul is already lining up more dates at the venue to take us through the summer. The upcoming pop-up is in homage to Yotam Ottolenghi, his style is not to use over complicated cooking methods, keeping the food as natural as possible. If combining food with music is more your thing then Constellations are launching another Pop-Up called Disco & Dinner on the 17th February. The event combines disco music with good food, wine tasting and entertainment.
The event is presented to by Sky Glover, chef to the stars. Sky’s extensive experience includes working with Heart Your Hearts Catering which took her on tour with Black Sabbath, M-People and Paul McCartney. Also cooking at private events for the likes of Zandra Rhodes and Richard Branson.
Chris Griff, a Liverpool fashionista, will be your host with the most. Former manager of Liverpool’s most eccentric nightclub Garlands, Chris now hosts selected events and supper clubs in various venues throughout the country.
Saffy Von Graff will provide her unique take on wine tasting for the curious minded. An intoxicating blend of burlesque style theatrics and some very serious wine. Although the wines she uses are serious, the
tastings are fantastical but grounded in the knowledge Saffy has accumulated over the years of learning. All of this will be followed by a private disco and Psychic Bingo presented by Lady Seanne.
Alongside the venue’s brand new Pop-Up concepts, Constellations’ Weekend Brunch Club is picking up in popularity and serves up ‘the best breakfast in Liverpool’ according to many of it’s reviews.
Brunch is available from 10am-3pm Saturday and Sunday, often with kids and family activities on Sundays to boot and a monthly themed event with set-menus, free mini bottles of prosecco per person, DJs and live music.
Nick Baskerville, Marketing Director at Constellations says “There has been a growing demand for new and innovative concepts from experiential diners for some time, customers who crave not just an amazing meal, but a new and exciting dining experience. We’re an event space in one of the city’s most exciting destinations for residents and visitors. It’s easy for us to get involved and provide unique menus and themes, one-of-a-kind events in a non-traditional food venue. We can’t wait to reveal some of our new food concepts for 2017, especially as we get ready to re-launch the garden this summer.”
As the summer approaches, Constellations are continuing the Pop-Up theme and looking for a very special operator to take over the kitchens and BBQ in the garden for the summer months. If you’re interested then get in touch with the venue directly.
