Festive winter village to arrive at Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace
3 years ago

An oompah band, mulled wine stalls and traditional German beer will inject a touch of festive cheer at Liverpool’s Camp and Furnace next month.
The Christkindelmarkt, which runs from Friday 20 December until Monday 23 December at the Baltic Triangle- based venue, promises to bring a slice of Germany to the city with its winter village.
The four-day event is set to include lively performances from The Bavarian Stompers, a well-known oompah show band, as well as a selection of authentic German beers and festive treats.
Paul Speed, managing director at Camp and Furnace, said: “We’re known for the huge variety of shows and events we put on so we’re excited to welcome the Christkindelmarkt just in time for Christmas – there’ll be plenty of traditional food and drink on offer, as well as lively entertainment to get everyone in the festive spirit.”
Also on offer at Camp and Furnace this Christmas is a series of pop-up cinema events, showing including yuletide classics such as Elf, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Grinch and It’s A Wonderful Life.
Advanced tickets for Christkindelmarkt are priced at £6.00 each. For further information about visit: http://www.campandfurnace.com/german-xmas-market/
