Following two nights of sold-out carnival action at Sefton Park’s Palm House, Fiesta Bombarda have announced they will be returning to Liverpool for their birthday celebrations this summer for an intimate show in the Williamson Tunnels.
Headlining this speical one-off show will be the 9-strong Manchester troupe Riot Jazz Brass Band.
Comprised of three trumpets, three trombones, drums, sousaphone, the group is fronted by the prodigious MC Chunky. Drawing from Jazz, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Balkan, Trap, Grime, Dubstep, Latin, Classical; the band write and play whatever their hearts desire. And the same goes for covers, which range from Britney to Bon Jovi, Shaggy to Blink 182.
Keeping the Tunnels bouncing through the night will be DJ sets from Fiesta favourites, Rubber Dub, Positive Vibration, Buddha, Boogaloo, Humble Abode and Down to Funk.
Due to the limited capacity at the venue, this birthday celebration is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Palm House carnivals and sell-out quickly.
