First Big Brother contestant has been evicted from the house
1 year ago
The housemate has lost out on a ÂŁ100,000 cash prize.
During last nights episode of Big Brother, Friday October 13, the housemates nominated for the first time, and local lad Paul Blackburn received votes from two of his fellow housemates.
Paul’s first nomination was from Trish, 33, who said that his conversations were “not that deep”, while Jordan from Scunthorpe disliked Paul’s “flatulence”.
Paul went on to vote for Farida saying that he doesn’t “really know where she stands” and has no time for “fake people”.
Viewers of the companion show, Big Brother: Late & live, were able to to see the nominations the night before, and voting commenced on the Big Brother app.
Now one contestant has become the first to be evicted from the revamped reality TV show.
During the latest episode of the ITV2 series, make-up artist Farida complained to NHS manager Kerry, who was also up for elimination, that âall the youngsters stuck together and they got out the oldest peopleâ.
Essex-based Kerry received five nominations from the housemates, whilst Farida from Wolverhampton had been given eight.
Farida, who said she wanted to join the Big Brother house because Asian culture and Asian women are âunderrepresented on TVâ, was then eliminated on Friday after a public vote.
Both Kerry and Farida had clashes in the house, and on the after show, Big Brother: Late & Live, the evicted housemate claimed Kerry âwas almost trying to befriend the youngsters in thereâ.
Farida also said: âShe (Kerry) would (tell housemates): âOh, she reminds me of me when I was 23â.
âAlmost like she related to be that 23-year-old or that 18-year-old⊠I would think to myself âoh my god⊠or âthere are children that have tantrums, youâre having these mini tantrumsâ⊠well then she admitted sheâs a drama queen.â
She added that during her time on the show Kerry would âwalk off and then start cryingâ if she tried to speak out about issues.
During the latest programme, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, Farida expressed her frustration at dancer Olivia for laughing at her.
She told her: âDonât laugh (because) thatâs not nice.â
Olivia responded saying: âIâm not laughing at that, but youâre making it out as if weâve all grouped together.â
âNo, thatâs exactly what happened,â Farida responds, before Olivia said: âI canât be arsed with that⊠f hell.â
When the housemates nominated Farida, they accused her of being ârudeâ, âhard workâ, âselfishâ and having âa hidden agendaâ.
Meanwhile, Kerry was labelled âloudâ, âoverpoweringâ and âpatronisingâ by certain housemate.
Contestants are hoping to win a ÂŁ100,000 cash prize.
Big Brother continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
