Folk Festival on the Dock: Ziferblat hosts Folk by the Minute
7 years ago

Folk Festival on the Dock will bring together the city’s rich music and maritime heritage in a celebration of live acoustic folk, sea shanty and folk rock over the August bank holiday weekend.
With a stellar line up of more than 100 confirmed acts, the dock bars and restaurants are hosting a number of intimate gigs right across the weekend, and pay per minute coffee shop, Ziferblat is such a unique venue, that the two go hand in hand.
Ziferblat isn’t your usual coffee shop and when we heard that there was a new cafe in town that serves up cake, coffee and everything in between for a set price of 8p per minute we had to go inside and explore, way back in February this year.
What we found was a beautiful space that you can instantly call home. Wi-fi is also included in the price together with as many cakes, snacks and hot drinks you can fit down your gullet. Not that you’ll need the wifi with a live acoustic set just a few feet away. Set the kids up with a board game, grab a coffee and relax with this brilliant line up.
