Formby Festival returns for three days of family fun in Duke Street Park

Formby Festival returns to Duke Street Park from 15-17 July, promising three days of fun and entertainment for all ages, including a stellar live music line up, family entertainment, craft and farmers market, food and drink stalls and a spectacular musical firework display.
Friday is Party In The Park night featuring a Silent Disco and an Open Mic stage. Various DJs will play throughout the evening and the show tent will offer a pub atmosphere with a Real Ale Bar, fine wines and everything in between.
Saturday and Sunday will be jam-packed with family fun. The Main Stage will play host to the finest musical talent the UK has to offer as well exciting new local artists. There will be performances from the UK’s leading BMX stunt team, fairground attractions for all the family and for the young festival goers a petting zoo, inflatables, magic show and much more.
“Bake Off” fans can improve their culinary skills in the Kids Cookery Zone and there will be a Bake Off Competition open to all the family – visit the website to book your place! Artisan enthusiasts can indulge in the Craft Stalls and Farmers Market, along with a wide selection of food and drink from across the globe available all weekend.
Formby Festival’s Saturday night Musical Firework and Laser Display has become a legendary feature of the weekend. You won’t want to miss it! This is backed up with fantastic live entertainment on the main stage and uplifting resident House DJ before the fireworks begin.
Sunday brings a carnival atmosphere to the event with the incredible Katumba Band & Brazilian Dancers, described as a walking wall of sound, don’t miss them.
