Full trader line-up revealed as Southport Food and Drink Festival prepares for record-breaking year

Organisers of the Southport Food and Drink Festival have today unveiled the full list of confirmed traders and attractions ahead of what is expected to be the most successful edition of the event to date.

Taking place from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June 2025 at Victoria Park, the free-to-enter festival is set to welcome approximately 40,000 visitors over the course of three days. More than 150 traders, producers, and exhibitors have now been confirmed, offering everything from world cuisine and artisan food to family entertainment and live music.

In an exciting development for this year’s event, organisers have also announced the introduction of a brand-new Experience Marquee, featuring ticketed tasting sessions and hands-on masterclasses.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse selection of street food and sweet treats from around the world, with culinary highlights including Dutch pancakes, tacos, Pad Thai, giant Yorkshire puddings, Philly cheesesteaks, and curried goat. For those with a sweet tooth, expect bubble waffles, gourmet candyfloss, and churros sundaes.

Among the new traders for 2025 are:

• Lids – serving artisan pies
• JT Akshaya – specialising in Indian dosa
• Cove – offering matcha drinks and acai bowls
• The Shippy Chippy – classic fish and chips
• La Petite Café – a container coffee unit with rooftop seating

Additionally, there will be 18 bars across the site, serving cocktails, craft ales, wines, ciders, and world beers. Hot drink vendors and coffee roasters will also be present, including returning favourites like Thanks a Latte and Clouds in My Coffee.

The Experience Marquee, introduced for the first time this year, will host intimate sessions limited to 18 guests per event. Activities include:

• Cheese and wine pairings
• Beer and whisky tastings
• Cake decorating masterclasses

Championing regional talent, the festival will feature a host of local producers offering everything from chutneys and honey to gin, cheese, and handcrafted fudge. A wide array of exhibitors will also be present, selling unique products such as handmade jewellery, wood carvings, fashion accessories, and wellbeing items.

Children will be well catered for with entertainment such as:

• Face painting
• Teddy tombola
• Inflatables
• Crafts and storytelling at the Pebbles & Treasures Children’s Festival

Live performances will add to the festival atmosphere, with appearances from choirs, dance troupes, ukulele bands, and vocalists such as Gemma Doyle.

The festival runs 10am to 6pm daily and is free to attend.
