Gaucho Liverpool launches its new intimate Beef Bar experience
2 years ago
Gaucho has fast become one of Liverpool’s favourite restaurants, based in the stunning former Bank of Liverpool building on Water Street.
Dining out should be more than just a chance to eat, it should be a theatrical experience designed to leave us entertained and enriched as well as well-fed.
And that’s exactly what Liverpool’s stunning steak restaurant, Gaucho, promises with its new and immersive gourmet adventure, the Beef Bar.
The stage is set in the sophisticated restaurant in the former Bank of Liverpool in Water Street which has been beautifully renovated, with sumptuous interiors complementing the rich woods and elegant marbles of the Grade II listed building’s past to create a wow factor from the moment you step inside.
And the drama continues with the culinary encounter of the Beef Bar launching from this Monday.
Up to eight people can take a front row seat at Gaucho’s countertop where a personal chef will serve an Argentine Beef Tasting Menu, with every cut of high-quality beef personally prepared to taste.
The five-course menu includes exceptional cuts of Argentinian, Pampas-fed beef, with dishes like the Cuadril Carpaccio, a juniper and mustard cure, smoked in yerba mate tea and finished with miso chimicuhurri; Lomo Tiraditos, a piece of tenderloin served with green horseradish mayonnaise, leche de tigre, watermelon radish, chili-infused pol and crispy onion, and Steak Tartare, presented with a slow-cooked duck egg and cracker, exciting your tastebuds before the journey continues with Gaucho’s Grill Selection and a rich Valrhona Milk Chocolate Block dessert.
Find out what diners think about Gaucho’s Beef Bar:
“It’s a really intimate dining experience that really does bring the theatre of the kitchen to the restaurant,” says Isabelle Denison, business development manager.
“Liverpool is only the second of Gaucho’s restaurants to have this, other than London, so we feel really lucky. But Liverpool is a special site and we wanted to bring something special and unique to the city and showcase the best of Gaucho.
“Step by step chefs will give a masterclass, talking about the flavours and each dish in detail. It’s amazing.”
The Beef Bar experience, which must be booked 48-hours in advance, is available Sunday to Thursday costing just ÂŁ55; you can also upgrade your experience with specially-paired wines, chosen by the in-house sommelier, for ÂŁ85 per person.
“And I would recommend that,” adds Isabelle. “The wine pairing takes the experience up to the next level.”
The Beef Bar offers another exciting opportunity to enjoy a visit to Gaucho – which you’ll always want to follow with an encore.
Gaucho’s become a go-to place for midweek lunches or after-work cocktails, Sunday Lunch – with live music from local artists – and it’s the best place to party when the weekend arrives, thanks to DJs every Thursday and Friday evenings and live entertainment from 7.30pm till late, every Saturday.
Isabelle says: “We have had such an incredible reception from everyone in Liverpool, which has been lovely.
“People love Gaucho and its fantastic food and drink offering, and we’ve got a team who really cares about the guest experience, and those special moments people come here to celebrate. And we have fun so the guests can just relax…and enjoy.”
The award-winning steak restaurant will always deliver an outstanding performance… and with the new theatrical Beef Bar, it’s added a whole new act that’s guaranteed a rapturous applause.
