Story time with Santa

30 November – 24 December

Step into the enchanting world of Croxteth Hall with Story Time with Santa, a magical event designed for children to meet Father Christmas in an intimate and immersive setting.

Joined by his trusty sidekick, Buddy the Elf, Santa will share festive stories and songs that capture the magic of the season. Each child will have the chance to share their Christmas wishes and will leave with their very own book as a keepsake.

Sessions capped at 30 children so it’s best to book early.

Santa Paws

7, 14, 15, 21, and 22 December

For the first time ever, Croxteth Hall invites pets to join in the festive fun with Santa Paws!

Bring your well-behaved pets along to meet Santa Paws in his cosy grotto. Each furry visitor will receive a special gift, a treat, and the chance for a festive photo. Don’t forget to dress your pets in their best seasonal outfits – think festive collars, winter coats, or Christmas-themed neckerchiefs!

On Saturday 7 December, the West Lancs Dog Trust’s highly trained display team will deliver a thrilling performance, showcasing their dogs’ incredible skills and tricks.

Makers Market

22 December

Finish your Christmas shopping in style at Croxteth Hall’s final Makers Market of the year. From handmade crafts and artisanal treats to unique gifts from local creators, it’s the perfect opportunity to support independent talent and find last-minute treasures.

Open from 11.00am – 4.00pm in the Stable Yard.

Cafe 1575 and Festive music

7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22 December

Warm up with delicious festive treats at Café 1575, located in Croxteth Hall’s cosy library bar. Enjoy mulled wine, hot chocolate, or seasonal snacks – perfect for recharging after a day of festive fun.

On Sunday 22 December, the café will host the Pastoral Choir, who will perform carols at 1.30pm and 2.30pm. Their stunning voices will fill the Hall with the sounds of Christmas, creating a magical backdrop for a memorable festive experience.
