Get the tunes on with our newest Guide Liverpool DJ, Josh Thompson

Josh Thompson is arguably one of Liverpool’s hottest up and coming talents. After a brief stint in 2013 Djing guest spots around the city, Josh was quickly snapped up by John Gilchrist from Empire Nightclub who brought him onboard to be the new resident in the infamous DOJO room. Since then, Josh has graced the decks in most of Liverpool’s most glamorous night spots including Alma De Cuba, Chameleon and Garlands to name a few.
You can currently find him every Saturday in the new Grande Room of Empire playing the best of Funky House and commercial Deep House for the SINTILLATE hosted evening. Tonight Josh is playing with legendary Liverpool DJ, Anton Powers.
Josh now spends most of his time in the studio producing new music which he can test drive in his sets.
Most recently though, Josh has found himself a new Friday night residency joining the team from Medication at the notorious home of Cream. You can see him performing there every Friday night playing to a packed out crowd of 3000 along side Matt Hibbert and Tom Williams.
Josh will be providing you with the tunes each and every Saturday on The Guide Liverpool, only deal is we need it LOUD! Trackless includes everything from Sigala to Craig David, Degrees of Motion to Mario, Arman Van Buren ft Mr Probz to Diplo & Sleepy Tom.
