Get to Anfield with Arriva on match day

Advertorial
No-one wants to arrive at a Reds’ game five minutes after kick-off – who knows how many goals you might miss?!
That’s why Arriva has blown the whistle on late arrivals and anxious waits and launched a new direct bus service that’ll get you to Anfield, and home again, with time to spare for the match.
There are two new dedicated routes that’ll take you straight outside LFC’s stadium and pick you up from there as well.
And the 926 and 927 will be operating exclusively on the Premier League winners’ matchdays along with special events at the ground.
So whether you want to see if Salah’s still on the money when it comes to sneaking in those jaw-dropping goals, or you’ve got tickets to one of the incredible gigs that’s seen the likes of Springsteen, Elton and Tay-Tay performing there, Arriva have definitely scored this season.
Adam Marshall, head of commercial for Arriva North West, says:
“We’re really pleased to have been able to introduce this new direct bus service for Liverpool FC fans.
“The 926 and 927 buses are a value-for-money, efficient and convenient travel option for everyone attending all home games and special events at Anfield.”

He adds: “We know how important it is for fans to get to the match quickly and return home with ease, and we hope this service will make their matchday experience even more enjoyable.”
The 926 is the outbound bus that will take fans from Stand 4 at Liverpool ONE bus station and it starts three and a half hours before kick-off, going straight to LFC without any stops en-route. The last bus to Anfield will set off 30 minutes before KO and, if it’s a concert or event you’re heading to, half an hours before it begins.
When you’re heading back home – hopefully after a win or a great gig – the 927 will be waiting for you from 10 minutes before the final whistle or the end of the concert. All you have to do is make a beeline for the St. Domingo Road bus stop which you’ll find outside the Valley Sports Bar on Valley Road where it meets St Domingo’s Road.
Don’t worry if you’re too busy having a post-match briefing with your mates (or hoping to catch a glimpse of your favourite singing star before you leave) the Arriva bus service will keep going for up to two and a half hours after it ends.
And, not only do you save yourself the hassle and cost of parking, Arriva will have people on hand to help, and will stay at the pick-up points until everyone is safely back in the city centre.
Arriva strike big on price too, with an adult single ticket costing just £2, and a young person (5-18) single ticket only £1.40. Back of the net Arriva!
