Get to Hill Dickinson Stadium with Arriva on match day

Advertorial
The 25/26 Premier League season’s about to kick off and for Everton it’s going to be an exciting landmark one at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Fans have already had their first look inside the stunning ground and now it’s time to really make it home.
A new stadium means new matchday routines and that includes the most important one before and after games … getting to and from the ground.
If you want to take the stress out of doing that, and avoid any parking hassles and charges, one of the best ways is to hop on a bus.
Ahead of the first home game of the season against Brighton, Arriva has launched dedicated matchday bus services, the 929 and 939, to help fans travel to the new waterfront stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock quickly and easily.
There are routes to cover you, whether you’re heading to the ground from south Liverpool and the city centre, or from north Liverpool.
The 929 is the one to catch from the city centre, and the 939 will take you from Bootle.
Because going to the game isn’t just about the 90 minutes on the pitch, fans can get there nice and early to soak up all the atmosphere – and try out a few of the nearby places for pre-match food and drink.

The 929 service will start 3 and a half hours before kick-off and you can pick it up from Liverpool ONE stand 4.
The first 939 service will also leave 3 and a half hours before each home game and that can be picked up from Bootle Strand bus station stand 4.
Once the match is over, both services will restart – they’ll be at stops 10 minutes before the final whistle blows and keep running for up to 2 and a half hours after so there’s no rush to head straight home if you want to carry on celebrating a Blues win!
The 929 and 939 are both direct routes without any stops along the way, so that makes for a faster simpler journey for supporters.
And it’s a great value set fare, with adult single tickets costing £2.00 and young person (aged 5 to 18) single tickets £1.40.
So, if you’re counting down to what’s going to be a historic first season for Everton at the Hill Dickinson stadium, and making plans to get the most out of every home game, leave the car and join other Blues taking the special matchday bus instead – the going to the game experience starts as soon as you’re onboard!
