Get your socks on and raise some money for charity this Friday
4 years ago
Tomorrow is National Sock Day and you can help raise money for amazing projects in our city by simply wearing the brightest, most colourful socks you own!
Steven Hunt & Associates (SHA) will be putting their SHA Socks on to celebrate National Sock Day and to raise money for The Mayor’s Hope Fund, an independent charity created by the Mayor of Liverpool to aid the relief of poverty locally.
But… they need your help!
They need you to put your SHA Socks on too and tag them in a post on social media (the more random and humorous, the better) and for every post they are tagged in during the week leading up to National Sock Day, 4th December, they will pledge to make a donation to the Mayor’s Hope Fund!
2020 has been a hard year for everyone but particularly for those who are vulnerable. Covid-19 and the recession has left many facing unemployment and in financial difficulty, so it is important that the business community shows support to those most in need. Through the Mayor’s Hope Fund, groups and organisations who offer poverty relief will be able to apply for funding to help them continue to provide their life-saving services.
Since the Pandemic, the charity has prioritised support to food banks to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk members of society have access to food and essential items at all times. Every single penny donated helps a family in need in Liverpool.
So, get your SHA socks on, and help Steven Hunt & Associates, help others in need to keep their feet on the ground this Christmas!
