One of the city’s most popular restaurants, Gino D’Acampo – My Restaurant, has plenty to celebrate as it turns one this month.

The popular Dale Street restaurant has enjoyed significant success since opening its doors in July 2017, receiving high praise from diners and media alike for bringing quality, authentic Italian dining to Liverpool.

Just last month the Italian restaurant was recognised in the Liverpool BID Company’s prestigious Mystery Shop Awards, for outstanding service in the leisure and hospitality sector.   The popular destination has also attracted the attention of national industry experts receiving nominations in the 2018 British Restaurant Awards for Best New Restaurant in Liverpool and Best Chef.

Speaking on the first year of business, Gino commented: “I love spending time in Liverpool, it’s an amazing city – the people here really know how to have a good time!   The response we’ve enjoyed to My Restaurant over the last 12 months has been simply fantastic and I’m truly humbled.   Cheers to an incredible team and another perfect year!”

Since opening its doors Gino D’Acampo – My Restaurant has served over 52,300 glasses of prosecco and over 63,800 authentic Italian pasta dishes to satisfied customers, all under the watchful eye of My Restaurant General Manager, Francesco Zaccaria.

The new summer menu, launched earlier this month, features 12 delicious new dishes each created from the finest, specially sourced seasonal ingredients.

Amongst the new authentic Italian dishes are: tomato and borlotti bean soup, served with cheesy toasted ciabatta, linguine with king prawns, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes and rocket; plus asparagus and pea risotto with broad bean, leek and Pecorino cheese.

Guests can also try the cannelloni, freshly prepared in house, with rocket, spinach and ricotta cheese – produced using the finest Buffalo milk from Garofalo farms in the heart of the Campania region in central Italy.

Gino D’Acampo, My Restaurant Liverpool is the perfect destination for stylish and relaxed all day, every day dining.  The former Grade || listed bank provides 200 covers and features a secret bullion room in the old bank vault. Magnificently modelled into an exclusive private dining and function suite, the space is perfect for an intimate get together.

The exclusive prosecco bar serves over 30 different types of prosecco, Franciacorta, sparkling wines and wines all available by the glass, it’s the perfect destination in which to while away warm summer evenings.
