Groove Armada joins the lineup for On the Waterfront as more acts announced

Liverpool’s On the Waterfront festival just got even bigger, with Grammy-nominated dance legends Groove Armada (DJ Set) now confirmed as special guests for Cream Classical Ibiza on Saturday 21 June 2025.
Groove Armada will bring their electrifying energy to Liverpool’s Pier Head, joining the 50-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra and Sense of Sound as they reimagine some of Cream’s most legendary dance anthems like never before.
Alongside Todd Terry, Chicane, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, Danny Rampling, Rob Harnetty, and Sean Hughes, this is set to be an unmissable celebration of Cream’s Ibiza legacy.
The four-day festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Three Graces and the River Mersey, is already shaping up to be one of Liverpool’s biggest music events of the year. And with even more acts now confirmed across the weekend, it is going to be huge.
Thursday 19 June – The Wombats’ biggest homecoming show

Indie favourites The Wombats will headline, with Pale Waves, Corella, Overpass, and Keyside joining them for their biggest ever hometown gig.

Friday 20 June – The Wolfe Tones

Folk legends The Wolfe Tones will play their last-ever English show, joined by The Highstool Prophets, The Scratch, and Shea Doolin.
