GUIDE LIVE: All the build up to the Gay Time Honours and some big Albert Dock Christmas news

Simmo & Rach are at the Walker Art Gallery ahead of tonight’s glitzy Gay time Honours event.

Gay Times Honours will award those who have had a profound impact on the lives of the LGBTQ community. Ten honours will be given out and the likes of Rebecca Ferguson, Sheree Murphy, Anthony Cotton, Liz McLarnon and Kieran Richardson will be in attendance. The family of local murdered teenager, Michael Causer will also be given a special award.

Plus news on a huge Christmas Extravaganza at Royal Albert Dock which takes place on Thursday 22nd November. Lots of deals across their stores bars and restaurants, Christmas carols, ice sculptors, loads for the kids and lots more.

The other big news of today is that Elton John is bringing his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ Tour to the Echo Arena and we have news on the Royal Court’s Christmas comedy, which stars our very own Lindzi Germaine, Scouse Cinderella.
