Guide Live: Kate & Simmo are back on solid ground with your weekend round up

The girls are back in the studio on this sunny Saturday morning with your full weekend event round up.

We’re all for making the most of the bank holiday weekend, especially while the sun is shining, and what better time to enjoy the very best live music at Sound City in the heart of the Baltic? There’s also more than 170 bands playing at Smithdown Road Festival, so prepare to find your new favourite artist.

From the brand new, to the old skool, Garlands hosts and epic Nostalgic night with all the greats, Back to the Anthems, 051, Sunrise and more, Simmo tell us she’s hopelessly devoted to Gin and Camp & Furnace takes it back to the 90’s & 00’s with Gold Digger, a night of RNB and Hip Hop.

We’re gearing up to make a splash as Adventure Dock officially opens at Dukes Dock today, why not challenge the kids to take on this 90m inflatable obstacle course….loser buys the ice cream! And if that wasn’t enough, we’re lacing up to take on the brand new city to Sefton Park route at the Liverpool Spring 10k on Sunday, more info on road closures and timings here.
