Handyman Bar and Brewery celebrates Independent Venue Week with a fantastic line up
10 months ago
Independent Venue Week returns for its annual 7 days of live music celebrating grassroot music venues and showcasing some of the most talented artists around.
Running from 29th Jan – 4th Feb, Handyman Bar and Brewery in Liverpool is one of over 200 venues nationwide signed up for shows this year.
Event coordinator Kevin McArthur said:
“We are really excited with the line up we’ve put together this year; four nights offering a variety of styles. The Saturday night we expect to be extra special with Matt McManamon (formerly the Dead 60s) returning to his hometown for his first full band performance since going solo.
“We’re delighted also to collaborate with Smithdown Road Festival and Capeesh CIC to bring other acts including Astles, Zetland, Samya O’Grady, COW and many more across the nights.
“The timing is perfect for the industry; everything goes a bit quiet in January after the rush of Christmas and this gives us, the musicians, and the customers something to look forward to.”
