Have a unique Mother’s Day afternoon tea with RLB360
4 years ago

This Mother’s Day The Royal Liver Building are opening their doors to a unique afternoon tea and tour experience.
April last year saw the Liver Building open its doors to public tours for the first time since its opening in 1911 and since then it has been a hit with visitors from Liverpool and beyond.
Taking you on a historical and interactive tour of how it came to be and a gift shop selling unique, locally sourced items it’s definitely an experience not to be missed.
After seeing the tour growing in success and popularity, RLB360, the team behind the Liver Building tour, have decided to open the doors even further, with a delicious afternoon tea in their never before seen (by the public) boardroom.
With a boardroom looking like it’s being taken from a Hollywood classic, you’ll end your tour of the iconic structure by sitting down at the stunning table were you’ll enjoy a freshly made afternoon tea. Tour and tea, possibly the best duo since the Liver Birds, no?
Mother’s Day (22nd March) will see the introduction of the RLB afternoon tea experience. Not only will you be given the full, interactive tour, you will end your trip with afternoon tea and fizz in the buildings stunning boardroom, which before now has never been open to the public.
With a fantastic selection of delicious sandwiches and cakes, including scones with clotted cream and jam (it wouldn’t be afternoon tea without it) and a late morning and afternoon slot there really is something to please everyone celebrating Mother’s Day this year.
Liverpool’s very own Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon and her mum, Janet, recently got to experience this as the team prepare to make it something your friends will envy forever, and from the reaction from one of our favourite scousers, it’s not something you’ll want to miss.
Iconic across Liverpool and beyond, the Royal Liver Building offers so much more than a pretty building on the waterfront.
