Here’s your Liverpool Loves Festival ULTIMATE bucket list

We’re gearing up for a huge weekend of free fun as Liverpool Loves returns to the city with a massive line-up of music, wellbeing and family activities.

From its brand new location on Derby Square, Chavasse Park and Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool Loves Festival 2017 is going to be better than ever with something for everyone and we’re going to be there too! Our Jay will be hosting the main stage on Saturday night as The Guide Liverpool brings the best of local talent, including Sub Blue, Delphina Kings and Pixey plus more to Derby Square.

With so many acts, workshops and performances to catch, right across the weekend, we’ve put together this ULTIMATE Liverpool Loves bucket list, how many will you tick off?

– Grab a spot at the Victoria Monument from 11am and prepare for Liverpool’s Media Academy Stars to knock your socks off! The best of up and coming scouse talent!

– Get the kids fired up learning circus skills like juggling, levitation sticks and more at Chavasse Park.

– All aboard the Soulfest train! Check out LA Walkaway on the Derby Square main stage on Saturday and bust some moves like no one is watching.

– Beaded bikini’s and feathers at the ready (yep, including all the dads). Head to the Culturebox Stage to watch the drummers and dancers in action, and let the kids have a bash at it too.

– Prepare to a big old dose of scouse summer time as Pixey takes to the main stage as part of The Guide Liverpool line up, we guarantee she’ll have you dancing. Have a listen here.

– Check out the serene Chavasse Park Well Being area and encourage your teeny ones to try out Yoga Bears (and maybe even get five mins peace yourself).

– Give our Jay a wave as he hosts the Saturday night main stage and introduces Sub Blue, Delphina Kings and more.

– Get the best view of the Culture Box Stage and take hundreds of selfies on the big steps at Liverpool One (right by John Lewis). That’s got all dayer written all over it.

– Head to the street food village for a taste of world cuisine all in one place. You’ll find us at the crepes or donuts stall for sure.

– No festival in the city would be complete without a live set from Liverpool’s own Edgar Jones. Head to Derby Square from 12pm to catch his performance as part of The Ryder Stage.

– Discover more about martial arts this weekend with Bushido Karate and Tai Chi workshops at Chavasse Park, send us your best Karate Kid crane pics @TheGuideLpool

– Scouse singer songwriter and one of the coolest new artists around, Natalie McCool brings her future pop sound to The Rider Stage on Sunday, don’t miss it.

– Start your Sunday with a coffee and chill on the Thomas Steers Way steps while The Choir With No Name soothe away your hang-over on the Culture Box Stage.

– Fancy a bit of story-telling hoola-hooping? Course you do! Take the kids to the Well Being area On The Green to find out more about this native American art form with Stay Beautiful.

– Forget Saturday night pre-drinks, get down to Derby Square as The Guide Liverpool headline act, Robert Vincent lights up the main stage with pure country rock.

– The yoga offering isn’t just for the babies. Get your giggle on and have a go at Jordan’s Yoga Laughter. Tighten your abs, improve your sleep and laugh yourself silly.

– Relive those holidays in Spain and have a go at Flamenco with Liverpool’s Alandalus Flamenco School, Ole!
