Hill Dickinson Stadium to host 2026 Wings For Life World Run
10 seconds ago
Hill Dickinson Stadium will stage the 2026 Wings for Life World Run, which takes place on Sunday 10 May.
Everton supporters are invited to sign up for the global App-run event, which takes place annually to raise vital funds for spinal cord injury research, alongside Official Energy Drink Partner Red Bull.
The organised App run, the world’s largest running event, unites participants across the globe in one shared moment.
For the first time, the local run will see participants head out on a circular, two-kilometre route around Hill Dickinson Stadium, joining hundreds of thousands of people at locations across the world, who all start at the same time. A pre-race warm-up allows participants to prepare, while hydration and refreshments are provided throughout.

During the race, there is no traditional finish line. Instead, 30 minutes after the synchronised start, the Virtual Catcher Car – a moving line which tracks each participant’s progress in the Wings For Life World Run app – sets off and steadily increases its pace.
When it catches you, your race is complete, with the last remaining male and female participants being crowned the winners.
Whether you run, jog or roll in a wheelchair, you set your own pace to join in the fun and every kilometre contributes to funding life-changing research.
Registration for the Wings for Life World Run 2026 is open now- and 100% of entry fees are donated to spinal cord injury research.
