Historic moment for Everton Women as they get set for first competitive fixtures at Goodison Park
4 hours ago

Everton Women are marking a historic moment in the club’s history later this month as they play their first competitive fixtures at Goodison Park.
Brian Sørensen’s side start their Barclays Women’s Super League season away at Liverpool this weekend (Sunday 7 September) and will then host Tottenham Hotspur in their first home game of the campaign onSunday 14 September (2:30pm kick-off), before taking on London City Lionesses on Friday 19 September (7:30pm kick-off).
The matches represent the first opportunity for Evertonians to attend competitive fixtures at the Grand Old Lady since its transition into the permanent new home of Everton Women – and the excitement of experiencing the new-look women’s matchdays at Goodison, now the biggest dedicated women’s stadium in Britain.
Hannah Forshaw, Everton Women’s CEO, said:
“Our move to Goodison Park underlines the ambition of the Club and our ownership. Goodison Park is more than bricks and mortar, it is a stadium with a soul which means so much to so many people. To be embarking on this new era for the stadium and for Everton Women is something that is hugely exciting, and something that I’m keen to ensure is a journey we take in conjunction with our existing fans, and also with the new fans we are keen to welcome to the women’s game. Having the biggest dedicated women’s stadium in the country here in our city is something we can all be immensely proud of.”

A range of drinks including beer, wine, cider, prosecco, and canned/bottled spirits and cocktails will be available from kiosks and the Fan Zone.
To ensure an inclusive and family-friendly environment, an alcohol-free family area will remain in The Enclosure, between the Park End and home dugout. Enhanced stewarding and safety measures will also be in place to support a safe, enjoyable experience for all.
A Historic Season Ahead
An away Merseyside derby and the two home fixtures to Spurs and London City Lionesses will be the start of a truly historic chapter for Everton Women at Goodison Park.
