How to have the Best Girls Night Out in Liverpool

Getting the girls together for a belter night out is the one. Here’s our top Liverpool venues for all kinds of girl groups.

Hiya girls, what you up to this weekend? Looking for some inspiration for a fab girls night out in Liverpool? Whether you’re all about the glam and fizz, popcorn and Hollywood’s latest blockbuster, mouth-watering menus, the latest arcade bars – whatever, we’ve got a whole host of top night out recommendations for you.

Here’s how to have the best girls night out in Liverpool…

The Prosecco Prinnies

If your perfect night out in Liverpool includes an exclusive booth, amazing DJ’s and lots and lots of prosecco this is the list for you. Start your night at Dash on Victoria Street, before toasting your besties at Gino’s Prosecco Bar on Castle Street.

Head across to Neighbourhood for live sax and big beats before getting a beauty fix and hair refresh at MID Night Lounge and dancing the night away with the girls.

The Movie Buffs

Plan a girly mate date to the flicks and chill with a big bucket of popcorn to share. We love Crosby Plaza Cinema for it’s affordable ticket prices and its old school feel. The Everyman Cinema at Metquarter offers up big squishy sofas and at-seat service from the bar and kitchen!

ODEON at Liverpool ONE is the go-to for preview and big Hollywood blockbuster film screenings. Tango Ice Blast and a whole load of pic n mix -standard. Check out the brand new Showcase Cinema De Lux for top class seats to recline in!

The Foodies

Food brings people together and what better way to have a natter with the girls over an amazing meal on a night out in Liverpool? We’re loving the new menu at The Smugglers Cove – brand new crispy halloumi and jerk salmon hanging kebabs!

Maray is the go-to for a meal worth talking about. Order small plates and a Disco cauliflower to share, you wont regret it. Mowgli is the perfect restaurant to ignite the senses, warm, relaxed and delicious.

Get on the sangria at Lunya and relive all those hilarious and unforgettable holiday moments with your girls or book a Sunday afternoon off mum duty and head to The Club House for a roast – where they do the dishes afterwards!

The Gamers

If you love getting competitive and celebrating victories with your girls – these are the Liverpool city hot spots for you. First up it’s got to be Roxy Ball Room. Mini golf, bowling, beer pong, shuffleboard, table tennis and loads more all under one roof.

You’ve got to try your hand at Ghetto Golf down at Cain’s Brewery and if you like your mini golf with old school pic n mix and cocktails – it has to be Junkyard Golf at Liverpool ONE.

Brand new retro arcade bar, NQ64 has opened at the former Aloha site and we LOVE it! Get those gaming thumbs ready and show Pacman who’s boss! If you want to add a bit more adrenaline to events why not book a session at The Climbing Hangar and reach new heights – together?

The Culture Vultures

If you like a little more entertainment for your hard earned cash why not do something different on your night out in Liverpool? The Liverpool Empire Theatre winter programme includes hilarious stand up comedy, classic musicals and unforgettable tribute acts. The beautiful Liverpool Philharmonic also offers classical, retro and modern gig nights plus comedy and films on the big screen.

Winter at the M&S Bank Arena brings the likes of Michael Buble, tributes to Motown, Bowie and Queen plus Little Mix, The 1975 and loads more. Or why not have a proper giggle and get yourselves tickets for Hot Water Comedy Club on Hardman Street.

The Book Worms

Nights out aren’t always about the hustle and bustle of the city bars and clubs. For those who love nothing more than getting lost in a good book – Liverpool has something for you too! Waterstones at Liverpool ONE hosts regular author meet and greet, panel talks and signing sessions.

Future Boss Club hosts its own book club with a brilliantly curated list of interesting stories to enjoy and discuss. Lifestyle Collective, Allerton Road is the perfect place to pull up a pew, enjoy a coffee and flick through Vogue or wedding mags with a mate.

The Cocktail Queens

Sometimes you just need to get your Club Tropicana on and hit the cocktails with the girls – it’s the ultimate girls night out in our humble opinion. Liverpool cocktails bars are among the best in the country. Start off at NYL Restaurant and Cocktail Bar for classic Liverpool Gin cocktails before heading to The Alchemist to get a couple of Zombies down you.

Next its off to the disco den at Jenny’s for a classic old fashioned, before dancing/wobbling/wandering to Aether at Liverpool ONE for peaches and bae daiquiri’s. The Florist is not only stunning inside and out, the cocktails are divine too! Selfies galore.

A truly hidden gem for cocktails is Present Company – just across from the Bluecoat. Fab little bar with lovely staff, tell them we sent you before you go up to Red Door on Berry Street for the classics; Aperol Spritz, G&T’s and Pina Colada’s.
