Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples you know! This age old day of love is a great opportunity to do something you love and claim back a bit of ‘me’ time. Why not buy your favourite flowers? Indulge in a box set and some choccies or get your mates together for a proper good catch up (or knees up) in town.
Yes you deserve those new jeans/trainers/handbag/cosmetics/stationery* delete as applicable. Why not head to Liverpool ONE for a high street splurge, Bold Street for vintage finds or the Baltic for a mooch?
Have you ever dined alone? You should totally try it, it’s liberating! We’ll be heading to Red Dog Saloon for some seriously good meat sweats, Crazy Pedro’s for £1.50 pizza slices and checking out Quandoo reviews for the best places to dine after all this mushy stuff.
We’re so fortunate to have so many gorgeous parks and miles of coastline in and around Liverpool. Why not plan a long walk in the park with a new audio book, hire a bike and cycle the waterfront or head over to Wirral and walk the coastal path from Seacombe to Thurstaston? More fresh air inspiration here.
It’s no secret that our scouse girls love a good pamper. We’ll be heading to Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols to stock up on our fave skin care and cosmetics for a full on pamper party at home. If you’re in need of some TLC why not head to The Spa at The Suite’s Hotel Knowsley and unwind with a massage?
Did you know that Liverpool John Lennon Airport has its own destination guides online so you can not only plan your next adventure, you can fly local too. Fancy a little sojourn to Cyprus, Spain, Germany or France? Get planning here.
So being single is pretty epic and while were quite happy treating ourselves, we wouldn’t mind someone to curl up on the sofa with occasionally. Why not check out the speed dating events at Lock & Rockets Lark Lane, Revolution St Peter’s Square and Hilton Hotel Liverpool, with one of your mates for a giggle. You never know, you might meet the one!
