HUGE NEWS: Steps announce a 2017 tour and they’re coming to Liverpool with special guests The Vengaboys

5….6….7…8…. Prepare for some boot-scooting entertainment news. Everyone’s favourite dance-floor filler pop stars, Steps are back with a 2017 UK arena tour!

Coming to the Echo Arena Liverpool on Saturday 18th November 2017, the five piece band will take to the stage marking their twentieth anniversary, and they’re bringing The Vengaboys along for the ride as special guests. This has got unforgettable gig written all over it!

The band have scored fourteen consecutive top 5 singles, sold over 20 million records and reached Number One with three albums and three singles. They are BRIT award winners and hold the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley Arena! That’s no tragedy!

Their riotous and bombastic new single Scared Of The Darl premieres later this week and will be released on Friday 10th March ahead of the new album Tears On The Dancefloor, out April 21st. The album features tracks from the biggest songwriters in pop including Ina Wroldsen (Calvin Harris, Britney Spears), Steve Mac (Jess Glynne, Little Mix), TMS (Years & Years, Sigma), Carl Ryden (The Saturdays, David Guetta), Fiona Bevan (1D, 5SOS) and Metrophonic (Cher, Olly Murs).

Tears On The Dancefloor marks the band’s first full album of original material since 2000 and is full of huge pop classics that are sure to get everyone back on the dancefloor.

After a number of appearances at Liverpool venues and rocking the stage at Reminisce festival, The Vengaboys will be joining Steps at the Echo Arena to pump up the party that little bit more. Our Jay caught up with them at Reminisce for a chat, check out the video above.

Speaking of the fourth-coming album, Steps added: “This is the album we think our fans have been waiting for. It was very important for us to have a hint of the past but to try and blend it into modern day music. We think Steps are a little bit of what everyone needs right now. We can’t wait to take the new album plus all our favourite hits out on the road”.

Make a bee-line for the Echo Arena website here and check out the Steptacular tickets options for what is going to be a phenomenal night.

We want to know what your favourite Steps track is…..Better Best Forgotten or maybe the Last Thing On My Mind? Either way, lets have a reminisce, tweet us @TheGuideLpool or email us info@theguideliverpool.com and we’ll share on our socials.
